Find Loved Ones and Ancestors from Wherever You Are
As part of a small, rural Appalachian community, we understand the importance of keeping your family roots and their stories alive. We also know that today, many members of our community live far outside our borders.
For those reasons, we’re proud to provide a way you can search our cemetery’s historical records.
Search through our burial records, view headstones, and when possible, rediscover oft-forgotten family ties and bonds.
How to Use the Bethel Community Cemetery Records Search
Before you begin:
There are two parts of the searchable records: a map and a spreadsheet.
You may view the entire cemetery burial map by clicking here.
However, if you are searching for the burial location of a specific person, use the list below.
The list is arranged alphabetically by last name. Once you locate the person by name, click on the gravesite link (you may need to scroll to the right if you are on a phone or tablet). Click the link and you will go the Names in stone page for that burial.
On Names in Stone, you can zoom the map out for a better idea of where the burial is in the cemetery. You can also view information including a picture of the person’s headstone.
